NICOLE PRAUSE PLACES 38th at CALIFORNIA INTERNATIONAL MARATHON

Sacramento, CA - Nicole Prause, Ph.D., assistant professor of clinical psychology
and sexual dysfunction researcher at Idaho State University and member of REVO2LT Running Team, ran a very well-paced race  to place 38th at the California International Marathon on December 7th in 3:04:33, shattering her previous best marathon time of 3:15:52.

“I can now run as a man for Boston,” exclaimed an excited Prause, referring to the Boston Marathon qualifying mens age-group standard of 3:10.  Four weeks ago, Prause placed second at the Two Cities Half-Marathon in Fresno, California in 1:25:28.  Now its 3-flat or bust!”

Prauses coach, Dr. Jason Karp of RunCoachJason.com, was equally as excited.  Between her workouts leading up to the marathon and her recent half-marathon performance, we both knew going into this race that she was the fittest she has ever been in her life,” he said.  All she had to do was control the early pace and execute her race plan.  All of her miles ranged from 6:53 to 7:05, which is about as perfect as marathon pacing gets.  Im very proud of her.”
