Overweight is defined as a body mass index (BMI) > 25 and obesity is defined as a BMI > 30.  Want to know your BMI?  Take your weight in kilograms and divide by your height in meters squared.  (To get your weight in kilograms, divide your weight in pounds by 2.2.  To get your height in meters, multiply your height in inches by 0.0254.)

You were an inspiration to me.  I used to hate to walk down the street, but now I feel the need to move and be physical.

Research shows that people who work out with a trainer see better results than those who don’t.  So what are you waiting for?

Sixty-six percent of the U.S. adult population is either overweight or obese.  And the outlook gets bleaker with age.  Overweight and obese people make up 53 percent of 20- to 34-year-olds, 61 percent of 35- to 44-year-olds, 65 percent of 45- to 54-year-olds, and 72 percent of 55- to 64-year-olds.  Being overweight is associated with numerous documented medical issues, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, gallbladder disease, menstrual abnormalities, arthritis, and orthopedic maladies.
It also costs billions of dollars in health care.  Bottom line?  Its unhealthy and expensive to be fat.  And its more expensive to be fat than it is to hire a personal trainer.

Research shows that how much you weigh is directly linked to the amount of exercise you do.
Not being physically active is also a primary risk factor for cardiovascular disease and carries the same risk as smoking.

Anyone can advertise him or herself as a personal trainer and give you a bunch of workouts.  But...

Designing your workouts based on science and research that cause specific physiological changes and organizing all of your workouts into a progressive, systematic training program that highlights your strengths and allows you to achieve your optimum fitness and health… that takes an expert.  And Im that expert.

I
’ll meet you for workouts in your home or at exotic locations around San Diego and North County, like Pacific Beach, Balboa Park, Mission Bay, La Jolla Cove, Torrey Pines, Del Mar, and Solana Beach.

All personal training sessions are scheduled for one hour and may be purchased with a credit card online via Paypal or with cash or check in person.
