Dr. Karp presented a useful and complete update of the important physiological principles that every coach of endurance athletes needs to know. The informative lecture/discussion format made it possible to discuss how to apply the scientific data to long-range workout plans and individual training sessions. I recommend that if you want to make your training more effective, listen to the teachings of Jason Karp. - Art M.

The running clinic in San Diego with Dr. Jason Karp met beyond my expectations.  It was an excellent review of the physiology behind endurance training.  Knowing more about whats going on inside the body gives you a better understanding of why certain training techniques work and why others dont.  The interval training program gave me so many new ideas to help my athletes and runners get to the next level.  With the information gained at this clinic, I feel more confident coaching my endurance runners and helping my clients lose weight with running. - Anna R.

I attended Coach Jasons second annual VO2max Distance Running Clinic in July and I found the class to be extremely informative. The best part of the class for me was learning the physiology that underpins the most commonly prescribed running workouts. Coach Jason also did a great job tying together all the information and showing the class how you can take these principles and use them to build a custom tailored training program. In the six weeks following the clinic, I customized a generic training schedule from a popular running magazine with the info Coach Jason provided and by doing so I lowered my 5K PR from roughly 20:30 down to the low 19-minute range. - Gerry S.
