Sean Mueller

A talented and dedicated runner, Sean is a junior at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, Connecticut.  Under
Dr. Karps guidance, he has become one of the best high school runners in the U.S., running 4:36 (1,600m) and 10:04 (3,200m) as a freshman, 4:22 and 9:32 as a sophomore, and 8:45 (3,000m) as a junior.

Nicole Prause

Discovering a joy for running with the Indiana Track Club in college and surprised to love her first marathon experience at the Columbus Marathon, Nikky began working with Dr. Karp because she wanted to kick the tires and see how fast this thing can go.  Recently moving to Idaho has produced many training challenges, including altitude, high winds, very dry conditions, nine months of winter weather, loose cougars, and races that usually run down a mountain.  Since working with Dr. Karp, she has improved from 19:19 (5K), 39:13 (10K), 1:34:44 (half-marathon), and 3:15:52 (marathon) to 19:01, 38:26, 1:26:52, and 3:04:33, respectively.  She is training to run a sub 3-hour marathon.

Jon Little

Following a successful collegiate career split between two NCAA Division I schools—Rutgers University and Indiana University—Jon hired Dr. Karp to provide direction to his training.  Since graduating law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Jon still consults with Coach Jason.  He qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, running 2:21:48 at the 2006 Chicago Marathon.

Brent Henady

A busy guy who worked 60-70 hours a week as an EMT and took classes to become a paramedic, Brent still found the time to run up to 85 miles per week under Dr. Karp’s tutelage.  His work ethic paid off, cutting 27 seconds off his 5K PR, 46 seconds off his 10K PR, and 3:43 off his marathon PR.

Rob (RJ) Lind

A renegade in his youth, Doug began running in his late 30s to take better care of himself.  He began working with Dr. Karp at age 53 and, at age 54, competed for the first time at the U.S. National Masters Track and Field Championships.
