A busy guy who worked 60-70 hours a week as an EMT and took classes to become
a paramedic, Brent still found the time to run up to 85 miles per week under
Coach Jason’s tutelage. His work
ethic paid off, cutting 27 seconds off his 5K PR, 46 seconds off his 10K PR,
and 3:43 off his marathon PR.

May

A self proclaimed “recreational runner looking to get to the next level,” Heather
worked with Coach Jason from the fall of 2001 to the fall of 2003. Her
PRs at the beginning of this time were 19:08 (5K), 41:30 (10K), 1:31:23
(half-marathon), and 3:13:23 (marathon). She
improved those PRs to 18:08, 37:15, 1:21:31, and 2:48:39 during the time she
was coached by Coach Jason. She qualified for and ran in the 2004 U.S.
Olympic Marathon Trials. She
currently is a member of the Indiana Invaders.
